Job Opportunity

Madera Community Hospital is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pharmacy Director to lead our Pharmacy Department.

Job Summary:

The Pharmacy Director will be responsible for ensuring the Pharmacy Department meets all legal, accreditation, and certification requirements. The Director will also ensure the department complies with all applicable hospital policies and procedures, including adequate staffing levels.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the Pharmacy Department's operations and ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure the department's efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Supervise and manage a team of pharmacists and technicians to ensure high-quality patient care.
  • Collaborate with other hospital departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices to ensure the department remains current and compliant.

Requirements:

  • Doctor of Pharmacy degree and current State of California Pharmacist License.
  • Five or more years of employment in a hospital setting with two years of supervisory experience.
  • Knowledge of hospital pharmacy practice and clinical pharmacy practice as it relates to hospital operations.
