Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver and oversee Speech-Language Pathology services to residents, ensuring adherence to departmental protocols.
- Conduct regular screenings to assess residents' needs for intervention or treatment.
- Evaluate residents to gather essential data for effective treatment planning and execution.
- Monitor residents' progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to achieve desired outcomes.
- Design community or home-based programs to support residents' ongoing performance in their daily environments.
- Provide timely clinical insights regarding residents' safety and functional requirements for discharge planning.
- Maintain confidentiality standards in all interactions.
- Implement treatment plans as specified and follow management directives.
- Engage in Continuous Quality Improvement initiatives as directed.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
- Successful completion of the National Certification Examination for Speech-Language Pathology.
- Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure.
- 0-3 years of experience in long-term care settings.
