Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver and oversee Speech-Language Pathology services to residents, ensuring adherence to departmental protocols.
  • Conduct regular screenings to assess residents' needs for intervention or treatment.
  • Evaluate residents to gather essential data for effective treatment planning and execution.
  • Monitor residents' progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to achieve desired outcomes.
  • Design community or home-based programs to support residents' ongoing performance in their daily environments.
  • Provide timely clinical insights regarding residents' safety and functional requirements for discharge planning.
  • Maintain confidentiality standards in all interactions.
  • Implement treatment plans as specified and follow management directives.
  • Engage in Continuous Quality Improvement initiatives as directed.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
  • Successful completion of the National Certification Examination for Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure.
  • 0-3 years of experience in long-term care settings.
