Job Summary

The Closing Team Lead is a critical role within CorVel Corporation, responsible for overseeing the closing process and ensuring its smooth operation. This position requires a high degree of attention to detail, organizational skills, and effective communication.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor and track all closing processes to ensure timely completion.
  • Run queries to collate data and maintain reports as needed.
  • Support the trainers by keeping up with training material and assisting with training new analysts.
  • Assist supervisors with additional projects and tasks as required.
  • Oversee the training of new analysts and ensure they are equipped to perform their duties effectively.
  • Responsible for keeping training material up to date and ensuring it is accurate and relevant.
  • Assist analysts with questions and provide guidance as needed.
  • Required to close files when necessary and serve as a final QC step for analyst files.
  • Track analyst errors and create corrective measures to prevent future occurrences.
  • Work at home but able to come into the office as needed to collaborate with team members.
  • Able to conduct meetings and communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
  • Additional duties and responsibilities as assigned by management.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 1 year experience as a Closing Analyst II/trainer or 1 year office experience preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and Excel.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment and think independently while working in a team environment.
  • Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Effective and professional communication skills.
  • Demonstrated leadership, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
Work Environment
  • Travel: Minimal.
  • Physical Demand: Light physical effort required, including standing, bending, or stooping for extended periods.
  • Mental Demand: Moderate to high degree of concentration due to volume and complexity of work.
