**About the Role**
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced System Administrator to join our team at Value Added Distributors LLC. As a key member of our Information Technology department, you will be responsible for the maintenance, configuration, and reliable operation of our computer systems, networks, servers, and virtualization.
Key Responsibilities
- **System Maintenance and Support**: Perform routine maintenance tasks, troubleshoot hardware and software issues, and provide technical support to internal clients.
- **Network and Database Administration**: Manage and secure enterprise devices using Microsoft Intune Endpoint Manager, configure and maintain network printers, and ensure the reliability and performance of our network infrastructure.
- **Cybersecurity and Compliance**: Participate in regulatory compliance audits and assessments, create and update cybersecurity-related policies and procedures, and ensure the implementation of best practices in cybersecurity.
- **Project Management**: Lead and participate in complex projects, requiring limited technical or management guidance, and coordinate with software and hardware vendors for product specifications, evaluation, and technical problems.
- **Documentation and Communication**: Provide documentation and technical specifications to IT staff, create and implement effective solutions, and communicate with other technology companies for best practices and research.
Requirements
- **Education**: Associate or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, System Administration, or a closely related field, or equivalent experience.
- **Experience**: 3-5 years of database, network administration, or system administration experience, with a proven track record of developing and implementing IT strategy and plans.
- **Skills**: Strong knowledge of systems and networking software, hardware, and networking protocols, experience with scripting and automation tools, and expertise in implementing and effectively developing helpdesk and IT operations best practices.
What We Offer
We offer a competitive salary range of $60,000 - $75,000 plus benefits based on experience, a 401k plan with employer matching, and a comprehensive benefits package.
