Job Summary

We are seeking a highly detail-oriented and organized Inspector Packer to join our team at Jabil. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for manually inspecting completed plastics parts and packing them into boxes for shipping.

Key Responsibilities
  • In-Process Inspection: Conduct frequent visual examinations of products to ensure they meet quality standards.
  • Data Recording: Accurately record any information deemed necessary by management regarding product performance or duties.
  • Packing and Shipping: Prepare products for shipping by transferring them from catch bins or boxes into shipping containers, weighing, labeling, and stacking finished products correctly on pallets.
  • Work Area Maintenance: Maintain a clean and organized production and packing area, including sweeping floors, picking up stray molded parts, and cleaning up spills and leaks.
  • Sorting and Reworking: Sort and rework products that do not conform to customer requirements, properly documenting and labeling non-conforming products.
  • Teamwork and Safety: Foster good working relationships with all departments and conduct all job functions in a safe manner, complying with applicable state and federal safety and environmental regulations.
Requirements
  • Math Skills: Average or better math skills required.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to spend long hours walking and standing, safely lift up to 35 lbs, and work well with others at all levels.
  • Communication Skills: Good verbal and written communication skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office products, SAP, and email.
