Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our Hand Therapy team at Salem Health Outpatient Rehab. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with our Hand Surgeons and Physician Assistants to provide high-quality care to patients with hand injuries and conditions.

Responsibilities

  • Assess and treat patients with hand injuries and conditions, including post-operative care and rehabilitation
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to promote optimal hand function and mobility
  • Collaborate with our Hand Surgeons and Physician Assistants to ensure seamless care coordination
  • Provide education and training to patients and their families on hand care and rehabilitation techniques
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
  • Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist in the State of Oregon
  • Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association
  • Preferred: Hand therapy certification or minimum 2 years of hand therapy experience
