We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in the Short Stay unit at Providence St. Vincent Medical Center. As a Registered Nurse, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, providing high-quality patient care and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to achieve exceptional patient outcomes.
Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care, assessing, and evaluating patient needs, developing and implementing individualized care plans, and collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure seamless care transitions.
- Administer medications, perform procedures, and provide education to patients and families on disease management, treatment options, and self-care techniques.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development and implementation of evidence-based practices that enhance patient care and outcomes.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members, ensuring clear and timely exchange of information to promote optimal patient care.
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
- Current Oregon Registered Nurse License.
- Current National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.
- Washington Registered Nurse License - if practicing within this state.
- 1 year - Nursing experience.
