Working Conditions

As a Physical Therapist at Advocate Health, you may be exposed to hazardous materials and life-threatening diseases. Direct contact with body fluids is possible, and you will be required to push, pull, lift, and transfer patients. You must be able to assist, escort, transfer, and respond to patient needs for extended periods. You may be required to work evenings, weekends, and holidays, with a minimum requirement of one weekend shift per month and one holiday per year in the inpatient setting.
