Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Motor Vehicle Inspection Program Manager to join our team at the City of New Orleans, LA. As a key member of our Public Works Department, you will be responsible for overseeing the overall activities of the City's Motor Vehicle Inspection Program, including fiscal management, contract administration, and personnel supervision.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and manage the Motor Vehicle Inspection Program, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and departmental policies.
  • Oversee fiscal activities, including budgeting, financial reporting, and revenue collection.
  • Manage contracts, applications for vehicle inspection eligibility, and purchases.
  • Evaluate operational processes and controls, recommending changes as necessary.
  • Supervise a team of administrative staff, providing guidance and support to ensure program success.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
  • Five (5) years of professional administrative experience, with two (2) years of supervisory experience.
  • Valid driver's license.
