Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Career Transition Readiness Coordinator to join our team at Job Corps. This is an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of young adults by helping them prepare for and advance in their careers.

About the Role

The Career Transition Readiness Coordinator will be responsible for assessing graduates' placement readiness, providing referrals and support services, and ensuring timely placement and retention in quality jobs or further education and training opportunities.

This role requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work with diverse youth populations. The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent, experience working with young adults, and a valid driver's license.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess graduates' placement readiness and provide referrals and support services
  • Ensure timely placement and retention in quality jobs or further education and training opportunities
  • Promote job development through direct contact with employers, One-Stops, and State Employment Agencies
  • Establish a high degree of student/coordinator rapport and promote a positive atmosphere in the classroom setting
  • Maintain accurate records and reports, including student/staff hours, requisitions, attendance, and monthly student evaluations
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent Required; Bachelor's Degree Preferred
  • Experience Working with Diverse Youth Populations
  • Valid Driver's License and Acceptable Driving Record
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary of $45,000 - $55,000 per year, based on location and experience. Additionally, we provide opportunities for professional growth and development, as well as a comprehensive benefits package.
