We are seeking a skilled Medical Records Coordinator to join our team at Texas Health Resources. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for collecting and preparing medical records for courier collection, interacting with clinical areas and hospital staff, and providing excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities- Collect and prepare medical records/documents for courier collection
- Retrieve point of care records of discharged patients from assigned patient care areas
- Complete Scan Alert and post to charts for records retrieved at the point of care
- Document/record preparation and delivery
- Assist internal and external customers as needed
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- 6 months of healthcare office setting or previous customer service experience
- Excellent customer service skills, strong written and verbal communication skills, basic computer and office equipment skills, and ability to work independently and self-motivated
