Assistant Store Manager Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Assistant Store Manager to join our team at Extra Space Storage. As an Assistant Store Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring the success of our store by providing exceptional customer service, meeting sales goals, and maintaining a clean and organized facility.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide outstanding customer service to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Meet or exceed sales goals through unit rentals, unit insurance, and moving supplies.
  • Guide new customers through rental processes and agreements.
  • Maintain facilities, including sweeping, mopping, changing light bulbs, and other tasks.
  • Work independently on daily tasks and cooperate with team members.
  • May be required to run errands for the facility and travel to other store locations.

Requirements:

  • 1+ year of customer-facing employment experience.
  • Strong computer skills.
  • Current, valid driver's license with access to a reliable personal vehicle (except in NYC).
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
