Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Verification Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our software development team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and reliability of our eVTOL system through comprehensive testing and verification.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, execute, and maintain test cases, test reports, and supporting documentation for software certification and validation purposes.
  • Develop and implement automated UI testing tools to automate testing of the systems ground control software.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize testing requirements.
  • Develop and maintain test plans, test cases, and test scripts to ensure thorough testing of software components.
  • Identify and report defects, and work with the development team to resolve issues.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Mechanical Engineering, or Aerospace Engineering.
  • 5+ years of industry experience in Quality Assurance or Test Engineering.
  • Extensive background in Software Test and Verification on embedded systems.
  • Proficiency in Python programming and shell scripting.
  • Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills.
  • Experience with project management, bug tracking, and continuous integration tools.
Desired Qualifications
  • DO-178C Software Certification experience.
  • Agile software development and Test Driven Development.
  • Robotics Project(s) and/or Drone experience.
  • Piloting aircraft, avionics hardware, electric cars, or similar systems.
  • Networking fundamentals.
