Sign-On Bonus: We are pleased to offer a $20,000 sign-on bonus for full-time positions as a Cardiac Ultrasound Technologist.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough assessments of cardiac anatomy and pathophysiology using advanced ultrasound techniques for both adult and pediatric patients.
- Utilize technical expertise to operate ultrasound equipment, generating clinically valuable diagnostic information.
- Possess a strong understanding of ultrasound physics, instrumentation, and clinical applications.
- Perform various echocardiographic procedures, including trans-thoracic and trans-esophageal echocardiograms, as well as stress echocardiograms.
Qualifications:
To be considered for this role, candidates must possess:
- Certification as a Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) from the American Registry of Diagnostic Sonographers (ARDMS) or as a Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI).
- Alternatively, candidates may be eligible to sit for the RDCS or RCS exam and must obtain certification within six months of hire.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
- Experience in sonography/ultrasound is preferred.
Physical Requirements: This position falls under the Allied Health category.
