Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Kids Ministry Administrator. This part-time position will be responsible for the overall administration of KidsCrossing at our Fenton campus.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain and update the team members database in Rock
  • Add new families into the Rock database
  • Create lists and reports using database information
  • Maintain the KidsCrossing ministry schedules and calendar
  • Maintain team member scheduling for weekend services in Rock
  • Oversee and maintain the entire process for scheduling events for Kids Fenton through the Ministry Request Process
  • Provide support for special events at Fenton as well as church wide special events
  • Oversee Connection and Onboarding Process
  • Coordinate with Campus Lead/Kids Staff in the volunteer connection and onboarding processes
  • Communicate with onboarding team members throughout the process until onboarding is completed
  • Send initial welcome letter, addendum and information
  • Schedule Exploring and Serve Convos with interested team members
  • Assist with new team members orientations and onboarding
  • Assist with team members trainings
  • Place new volunteers in their serving groups
  • Provide support to volunteer leaders who oversee the following areas: KidsCrossing ordering and supplies, Family Welcome Team, Weekday Prep Team, Girl's Night Out Team
  • Oversee administrative tasks
  • Coordinate communiques and mailings to parents and team members
Requirements
  • Attend a service at one of The Crossing campuses on a weekly basis
  • Passionate about their relationship with God
  • Baptized after making the thoughtful decision to follow Christ
  • Regard the Bible as God's final authority in all areas of Christian life and desire to be wholly obedient to it
  • Wholeheartedly affirm The Crossing's Statement of Faith, including our view on Baptism
  • Live a lifestyle consistent with scriptural principles
