Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Ultrasound Technologist to join our team at Kapiolani Medical Center for Women and Children. As an OB Ultrasound Technologist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality diagnostic ultrasound examinations for obstetric patients and their families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations for obstetric patients, adhering to American Institute of Ultrasound (AIUM) standards
  • Recognize and document normal and abnormal fetal anatomy, as well as any other relevant findings
  • Collaborate with Maternal Fetal Medicine Specialists, technologists, genetic counselors, and clinical nurses to ensure comprehensive patient care
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance imaging services and patient outcomes
Requirements
  • Formal training in ultrasound
  • Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) with the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) in Obstetrics and Gynecology
  • Current American Heart Association Health Care Provider Basic Life Support (BLS) CPR card
  • Two (2) years sonographer experience in high-risk obstetrics, with the ability to perform scans per AIUM standards
Preferred Qualifications
  • Nuchal Translucency Quality Review (NTQR) credentialed or Fetal Echo certified
