The role of Survey Manager at Cogent Analytics involves coordinating survey personnel and data collection from field crews and office technicians. Proficiency in all described duties of the Party Chief and Survey Technician is required. In addition to managing survey data, the successful candidate will prepare and supervise the preparation of data, records, plats, maps, reports, documents, and legal descriptions of surveys. A key responsibility is to coordinate surveys with the work of engineers, architects, clients, and other stakeholders. With a strong background in land surveying, the ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent, a minimum of six years of experience, and an Arkansas Licensed Professional Land Surveyor designation. Additionally, passing scores on the Fundamentals of Survey Exam, Principals of Practice Exam, and State Specific Exam are required. Proficiency in AutoCAD drafting software is essential, as is experience preparing TINs, surface models, and contours. Strong computer skills in MS Windows, including Word, Excel, and Outlook, are also necessary. Compensation for this position is $70,000-$95,000 per year, based on experience.
