Summary
Department: Magnetic Resonance Imaging
Shift Schedule: 15:00 - 22:30, Monday to Friday (5 Days/8 Hours)
Weekly Hours: 40 Hours
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and position patients while accurately selecting anatomical and technical parameters to generate cross-sectional images of the body.
- Conduct patient pre-screening, scheduling, and provide education related to the imaging procedure.
- Input and monitor patient data, transfer images from disk to magnetic media to create transparency, and develop film using an automatic processor.
- Adhere to radiation safety protocols and guidelines.
- Ensure timely submission of high-quality images and documents to PACS, including image quality, correct lead markers, and patient data/history.
- Verify that equipment is functioning properly and report any potential issues or malfunctions to the appropriate personnel.
- Assist in maintaining a clean and organized department, including procedure rooms, storage areas, dressing rooms, and film storage areas.
Minimum Qualifications
At least 1 year of MRI experience, with familiarity in Siemens and GE systems; may require flexibility to work at various sites within a reasonable distance.
