We are seeking a highly skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team at Elderwood at Grand Island. As a Speech-Language Pathologist, you will play a vital role in ensuring the health and well-being of our residents by providing speech-language therapy services.
Responsibilities:- Conduct comprehensive evaluations to identify communication disorders and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Provide speech-language therapy services to residents, including individual and group sessions.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and support.
- Maintain accurate records and reports, including progress notes and discharge summaries.
- Participate in staff meetings and in-service training to stay up-to-date on best practices and industry developments.
- M.A. or M.S. degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an approved school.
- State license to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Clinical Competence Certification from the American Speech and Hearing Association (ASHA) preferred.
- Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Current, valid CPR/BLS certification.
- $43.72 per hour salary.
