Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist to join our team at Unity Health. This is a full-time opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, contributing to the efficient operation of the department and promoting quality patient care.
About the Role
As a Radiology Technologist - CT Scanning Specialist, you will perform CT scanning examinations, utilizing your expertise to ensure accurate diagnoses and treatments. Your ability to work efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced environment will be essential in providing exceptional patient care.
Responsibilities
- Operate CT equipment to perform high-quality scans
- Manage patients during radiology procedures, ensuring their safety and comfort
- Develop and maintain knowledge of exams using contrast agents, radiographic equipment, and radiation safety protocols
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to provide excellent patient care
- Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field
- Certification by the American Registry of Radiology Technologists (ARRT) as a Radiology Technologist and/or CT Technologist
- 2+ years of experience in radiology, preferably in CT scanning
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
