Diagnostic Imaging Specialist

At Unity Health, we are seeking a highly skilled Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join our team. This is a full-time position that offers a competitive salary of $65,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on experience.
About the RoleWe are looking for a dedicated professional who can coordinate and perform diagnostic radiographic cases for all patients. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and be able to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines. A good understanding of age-related developmental issues is also essential.
Responsibilities- Coordinate and perform diagnostic radiographic cases for all patients.
- Maintain accurate and responsive communication with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Ensure patient safety and well-being at all times.
- Work effectively in a team environment to achieve high-quality patient care.
- Education: Must have completed a recognized program in radiologic technology.
- Certification: Must be certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists and maintain this status.
- Experience: Prefer 1 year of radiologic experience.
- Safety Sensitive: Yes.
The Diagnostic Imaging Specialist will work in a radiation area and may be exposed to blood, body fluids/tissues, and electromagnetic radiation. The ability to lift 50 lbs, wear protective lead aprons and gloves, and work within a limited space is essential. Travel locally and elsewhere may be required.
