Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Maintenance and Custodial Services Professional to join our team at Wonder Academy. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and safety of our school environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Custodial Services: Clean and maintain all areas of the school, including classrooms, hallways, restrooms, and common areas.
  • Maintenance and Repair: Perform routine maintenance and repairs on school equipment, fixtures, and furniture.
  • Lawn Care and Grounds Maintenance: Maintain the school's grounds, including mowing, trimming, and pruning.
  • Event Setup and Takedown: Assist with setup and takedown of events and meetings.
  • Supply Management: Requisition and manage supplies and equipment needed for custodial and maintenance duties.
Requirements
  • Education: High School Degree or GED.
  • Experience: Past custodial experience, building maintenance, and lawn care in a recreation/school/commercial setting is preferred.
  • Licenses and Certifications: Must possess a valid driver's license and current CPR and first aid training.
Working Conditions

The successful candidate will be able to work safely in an environment containing chemicals, cleaning materials, dust, and noise. Routinely required to work under inclement weather conditions and in high participant traffic areas.
