We are seeking a highly skilled Lifting Equipment Engineer to join our team at Apex Innovations. As an expert in lifting equipment, cranes, and transport systems, you will be responsible for inspecting and evaluating machines and components for our global clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough inspections and evaluations of lifting equipment, cranes, and transport systems to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Examine technical documents, including statics/calculations, risk assessments, and operating instructions, to identify potential issues and areas for improvement.
  • Perform construction and acceptance tests at client sites, both domestically and internationally, to ensure equipment meets specifications and is safe for use.
  • Prepare detailed inspection reports, expert opinions, and test protocols to document findings and recommendations.
  • Serve as a technical contact person for clients, providing guidance and support on lifting equipment and transport systems.
  • Independently manage projects from initial offer to inspection and billing, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of services.

Requirements:

  • Completed engineering degree in mechanical engineering, civil engineering, or a comparable field.
  • Excellent knowledge of statics and mechanics, with experience in FEM calculations (finite elements) a plus.
  • Experience in risk analysis and machine safety is advantageous.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications, with strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Self-initiative and structured work style, with a passion for direct customer contact.
  • Fluent in German and good knowledge of English, with a valid driver's license and willingness to travel nationally and internationally.
