Position Summary

The Warehouse Operations Supervisor is responsible for the safe movement of products within the facility, utilizing designated software to accurately document transactions. This role also involves guiding and assisting in the enhancement of standard operating procedures while ensuring the cleanliness and organization of the warehouse and shipping & receiving areas.

Key Responsibilities

  • Safely transport products within the facility.
  • Proficiently use relevant software applications, including Microsoft Office and departmental tools.
  • Efficiently manage the receipt of incoming products.
  • Oversee daily operations and tasks for warehouse and shipping & receiving personnel.
  • Utilize hand tools as necessary.
  • Lift and handle items weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Maintain organization and orderliness within the warehouse.
  • Monitor inventory levels for non-BOM parts as required.
  • Ensure production inventory is stored in designated bin locations.
  • Collaborate with the inventory control team and engage in inventory reduction initiatives.
  • Track on-time shipments and lead management, notifying relevant parties of any delays in product shipments.

Qualifications

Minimum of a high school diploma is required.

A foundational understanding and experience in manufacturing processes are preferred.

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Strong planning, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective interaction with team members and stakeholders.
  • Solid grasp of all personnel-related processes and procedures.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal oversight.
