Warehouse Lead - Second Shift

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Warehouse Lead to join our team in Greenwood, Indiana. As a key member of our warehouse operations, you will be responsible for assisting the area supervisor in training and developing a team of qualified and productive staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the training and development of new and current associates
  • Assign work and work stations to ensure efficient operations
  • Check, evaluate, and report quality and productivity data to supervisors
  • Act as a functional department leader in the absence of the direct supervisor
  • Coordinate staffing within department areas
  • Oversee pick/pack/ship/replenishment processes
  • Manage receipt of inbound freight and maintain appointment schedules
  • Unload and receive inbound freight, and put away incoming freight into storage bins
  • Communicate with transportation, outside carriers, and supply chain teams
  • Coordinate preparation of inter-org transfers and communicate with supply chain teams
  • Manage inventory control desk, complete system moves, and distribute daily cycle counts
  • Support the oversight of a small team and manage work orders

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma and/or 1-2 years of equivalent experience required
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to work in a team environment and adapt to changes
  • Must have experience or be willing to learn to operate power equipment
  • Demonstrate good problem-solving and trouble-shooting skills
  • Maintain high levels of accuracy in all aspects of job function
  • Ability to learn and utilize a variety of computer software programs
