Distribution Director

WernerCo is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Distribution Director to oversee and manage all aspects of our distribution operations. This role is responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective distribution of all products, with the goal of providing the desired service level to our customers while achieving the optimum cost structure.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and manage the distribution budget with finance partners
- Develop strategies to reduce Distribution spend as a % of sales
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of distribution managers, supervisors, and staff across all distribution locations
- Partner with OPEX leader to identify opportunities for process optimization and implement best practices across all sites
- Establish and maintain positive working relationships with landlords, vendors, and other external partners
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience within Logistics and Distribution with multi-site level management of 100,000sqft+ facilities, with at least 5 years in leadership role.
- Advanced skills on all Microsoft Office applications, with emphasis on Excel and PowerPoint
- Expected travel up to 25%
