Job Title: IR Technologist | Cath Lab

CrossMed - Cath Lab is seeking a skilled Interventional Radiology Technologist to join our team for a travel assignment in Silver Spring, Maryland.

About the Job

This is a 13-week travel assignment with a guaranteed 40 hours per week. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in Interventional Radiology and be certified in their field. The technologist will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, collaborating with physicians and other healthcare team members, and maintaining a clean and safe environment.

Responsibilities
  • Provide and coordinate patient care with other healthcare team members
  • Monitor patients' responses to interventions and report outcomes
  • Administer medications as ordered with appropriate documentation
  • Monitor and evaluate patients before, during, and post procedure depending on unit
  • Shares on-call responsibilities with a 30-minute response time if required
  • Maintains cleanliness of rooms and adequate stock of supplies
  • Transports patients as needed
  • Performs other duties as assigned
Requirements
  • At least 2 years of experience in Interventional Radiology
  • Certifications may be required based on facility requirements
  • Physical abilities – remain in a stationary position, move and lift equipment lbs), pushing, bending and pulling
  • Communication and collaborates with physicians and other health team members
