Diesel Mechanic and Fleet Maintenance Specialist

US Foods, Inc. is seeking an experienced Diesel Mechanic and Fleet Maintenance Specialist to join their team. This role will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining the company's fleet of road equipment, including tractors and trailers. As a key member of the maintenance team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our fleet.
Responsibilities
* Troubleshoot and repair complex diesel engine issues
* Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes and tire rotations
* Conduct thorough inspections to identify potential problems before they become major issues
* Work independently with minimal supervision, using your expertise and experience to make sound decisions
Requirements
* 3 years of commercial diesel mechanic experience or equivalent
* Strong knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics, and electrical systems
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills
