Position Overview:

Join Archer Daniels Midland Company, a leader in agricultural processing and transportation, as a Class A CDL Tanker Operator. Our team has been dedicated to transforming crops into essential products for over a century, ensuring that we meet the vital needs of our global customers.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Plan and execute trips effectively, considering breaks, fuel stops, customer appointments, and various driving conditions.
  • Manage unforeseen circumstances while maintaining safety and efficiency.
  • Operate a range of equipment, including semi-trucks, tank trailers, and flatbeds.
  • Safely load and unload products in accordance with company and customer guidelines.
  • Be prepared for fluctuating weekly mileages and the necessity of working weekends, nights, and holidays to meet delivery schedules.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Must be able to obtain a hazardous materials endorsement within 60 days of employment.
  • Adhere to all relevant government and company regulations, including FMCSA, OSHA, EPA, and DOL.

Compensation and Benefits:

We offer a competitive pay rate of 50 CPM along with a comprehensive benefits package that includes health, dental, vision, and life insurance, a 401(k) plan with company matching, and paid vacation. Uniforms will be provided.

Preferred Candidate Profile:

  • Minimum age of 24 years.
  • At least 2 years of verifiable over-the-road or local driving experience within the last 7 years.
  • Possession of a Class A CDL with a Tank endorsement; Haz Mat endorsement must be obtained within 60 days.
  • No more than 1 chargeable accident in the past 3 years.
  • No more than 3 jobs in the last 3 years.
  • No more than 1 moving violation in the last 3 years.

Candidates must successfully complete a DOT pre-employment drug screening, physical examination, background check, and functionality testing.
