We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at Guthrie Clinic. As a Registered Nurse, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care to achieve patient goals and optimize outcomes.
- Develop and update patient care plans to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care.
- Monitor and record patient condition, communicating effectively with the healthcare team to ensure seamless care transitions.
- Perform and maintain essential competencies to provide high-quality patient care.
- Advocate for patients' autonomy, dignity, rights, values, and beliefs, promoting holistic care and patient-centered practice.
- Foster a learning environment for patients, families, nursing staff, and other healthcare team members, facilitating formal and informal learning opportunities.
- Align practice with safety and quality standards, identifying and correcting problems, and integrating evidence-based practice into nursing care.
- Engage in ongoing professional development, practicing at the top of licensure and promoting a culture of inquiry that explores, integrates, and disseminates research and evidence-based practice.
- Participate in the planning and presentation of educational programs, promoting a culture of learning and professional growth.
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of employment.
- At least one year of experience as a Registered Nurse, or completion of the Newly Licensed Registered Nurse Residency (NLRN) Program.
- BSN in Nursing preferred, with any previously agreed-upon effective date for obtaining a Bachelor's degree in nursing remaining in effect.
- Specialty certification preferred, with BLS certification required and ACLS certification unit-dependent.
- Proficiency in Information Technology, including electronic health records, communication systems, computers, and equipment necessary to perform essential functions.
- Ability to work effectively with a wide range of staff as part of an interdisciplinary team, including physicians, nurses, and ancillary staff.
- Ability to use independent, critical judgment in all aspects of patient care delivery.
- Demonstrated interpersonal skills that convey a positive and supportive attitude.
- Ability to effectively manage multiple responsibilities, urgent responses, and challenging situations.
