The primary objective of the housekeeping role is to execute scheduled cleaning tasks as assigned by the housekeeping supervisor.

Responsibilities may include mopping, sweeping, dusting, washing windows, shampooing carpets, vacuuming, arranging furniture, and generally maintaining cleanliness of furniture, equipment, fixtures, and hardware.

• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English with residents, families, guests, and other associates.
• Capability to work safely with cleaning chemicals and tolerate exposure to chemical fumes, dust, and pet dander.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, reach with hands and arms, sit, stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl.

• Clean and sanitize living spaces and their contents, including vacuuming, dusting, cleaning kitchen and bathroom fixtures, turning mattresses, moving light furniture, and emptying trash.
• Perform additional cleaning duties for resident apartments, offices, bathrooms, and common areas.
• Assist in cleaning and refurbishing vacated residences.
• Wash, dry, fold, and store linens and laundry for the community and residents.
• Coordinate the delivery and return of resident laundry.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of housekeeping carts.
• Ensure carts are stocked with appropriate cleaning supplies in OSHA-approved containers.
• Carry out any other duties as assigned.

Must be capable of performing movements such as pushing, pulling, lifting, bending, kneeling, reaching, and lifting up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodations.
