Job Summary

Flintco is seeking an experienced Lean Operations Manager to lead our Production Support team in Construction Support Services. This is a hybrid role, offering the flexibility of both in-person and remote work. As a key member of our team, you'll champion internal improvement initiatives, support Lean implementation on projects, and advise senior leadership on strategic actions.

This role requires up to 50% travel, and the position can be based out of any Flintco office: Austin, Denver, Houston, Memphis, Oklahoma City, Springdale, or Tulsa. The Senior Lean Manager reports directly to the Director of Production Support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lean Program Management: Direct and broker resources for Lean program management, including strategic planning, implementation, sustainment, interdepartmental integration, and assessment of program effectiveness for continuous improvement.
  • Project Management: Manage multiple complex internal projects across organizational and functional boundaries, prioritizing effort for future initiatives.
  • Lean Community Partnership: Partner with the Flintco Lean community of practitioners, supporting operations staff in Lean Mentor, Coach, and Champion roles.
  • Data Analysis: Perform or assign resources to collect, analyze, and interpret project data to identify performance trends and potential risks, advising senior leadership on short, mid, and long-term planning.
  • Lean Education: Develop curriculum and provide educational presentations on Lean 2.0, specific Lean practices, or introductory Lean knowledge to internal and external users.
  • Steering Committee Support: Engage with steering committees related to initiatives housed within functional areas.
  • Process Improvement: Implement and sustain Production Support processes, initiatives, and digital platforms, assisting other Flintco departments with technical support in areas of expertise.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience: Experience with data analysis and modeling, project management, Lean construction practices, commercial and/or industrial construction processes, and proficiency with digital collaborative planning platforms.
  • Preferred Characteristics: Familiarity with utilizing A3s for documentation, problemsolving, and strategic planning, experience in operational excellence, continuous improvement, or Agile methodology, and experience with implementing and sustaining multitrade prefabrication and/or modularization.
Estimated Salary Range

The estimated salary range for this position is $110,000 - $140,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
