Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at Toyota Alabama. As a key member of our General Maintenance Department, you will be responsible for performing preventative maintenance on electrical and mechanical equipment, ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks on electrical and mechanical equipment, including hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems.
  • Troubleshoot and repair equipment, identifying and resolving issues to minimize downtime.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement process improvements and optimize equipment performance.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including work orders and maintenance records.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices, applying knowledge to improve maintenance processes and equipment performance.
Requirements
  • Industrial maintenance and/or military experience.
  • Electrical and mechanical knowledge, with a strong understanding of PLCs, computers, and information technology.
  • Technical skills in hydraulic, pneumatic, motion, and motor control systems, as well as welding and machining.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Availability to work any shift, including overtime, holidays, weekends, and shutdowns.
