At PRIDE Industries, we are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Custodian to join our team. As a Custodian, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment for our employees and customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform general custodial duties, including cleaning, dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming.
  • Empty and clean wastebaskets, trash containers, and cigarette urns.
  • Clean and sanitize restrooms and bathrooms using established practices and procedures.
  • Assist with the setup for meetings, classrooms, conferences, and events.
  • Follow instructions regarding the use of chemicals and supplies.

Requirements:

  • Ability to utilize a wide array of custodial chemicals.
  • Ability to safely operate custodial equipment.
  • Ability to communicate effectively.
  • Ability to follow instructions.
  • Computer literacy to use business software and the Internet.

Work Environment:

Work is performed in an office environment or at a customer's location, such as a commissary environment, a federal courthouse, or a military base. Employees may be exposed to toxic chemicals, noise from equipment, and depending on indoor and outdoor conditions, exposure to cold or heat.
