As a key member of our housekeeping department, you will be responsible for ensuring that our guest rooms and public areas meet the highest standards of cleanliness and quality.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the housekeeping team to ensure efficient and effective room cleaning and maintenance.
  • Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms and public areas to ensure that they meet our high standards of cleanliness and quality.
  • Develop and implement procedures to improve housekeeping efficiency and productivity.
  • Train and develop housekeeping staff to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to perform their jobs effectively.
  • Monitor and control housekeeping expenses to ensure they are within budget.
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as front office and maintenance, to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
  • Ensure that all housekeeping staff are aware of and comply with company policies and procedures.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the General Manager or Director of Rooms.

Requirements

  • 1 year of experience in a hotel or similar environment.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 50 pounds).
  • Fluency in English and Spanish is highly desirable.
