About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Speech-Language Pathology Assistant to join our team at Speech & Occupational Therapy Specialists. As an integral member of our clinical staff, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality therapy services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Treatment Sessions: Assist with speech, language, and hearing screenings without clinical interpretation of results, and participate in assessment activities under the guidance of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist.
  • Client Care: Perform routine activities during treatment sessions that do not require professional judgment, following the plan of care developed by the SLP. Document client progress and report information to the supervising SLP.
  • Administrative Tasks: Schedule appointments, prepare materials, and maintain accurate records, including EMR updates and charge entry within 24 hours of service.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor's degree or Associate's degree in Communication Sciences, or equivalent experience.
  • Skills: Strong organizational skills, solid computer skills (MS Office programs, internet, email), and ability to work independently under supervision.
  • Certifications: CPR Certification and experience with HIPAA and OSHA requirements.
Work Environment

This position operates in a professional office environment, with flexibility in hours and potential for travel to multiple treatment sites.

Compensation

The estimated salary for this role is $45,000 - $60,000 per year, based on location and experience.
