Speech & Occupational Therapy Specialists is a leading provider of occupational therapy services, seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our team.
About the RoleWe are looking for an experienced and skilled Occupational Therapy Assistant to provide high-quality care to our patients in home, clinic, and school settings. As an OTA with Speech & Occupational Therapy Specialists, you will have the opportunity to work with a dynamic team of professionals who share your passion for delivering exceptional patient care.
Responsibilities- Provide occupational therapy services to patients in various settings, including homes, clinics, and schools.
- Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation as required by third-party payors and SOTS policies.
- Collaborate with supervising occupational therapists to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Participate in interprofessional meetings with schools and contract agencies to ensure seamless patient care.
- Contribute to marketing efforts for occupational therapy services as requested by SOTS administration.
To be successful in this role, you must possess:
- A strong educational background in occupational therapy, meeting licensing and educational criteria set forth by Virginia law.
- The ability to comply with legal and ethical standards of care, adhering to regulations and standards set by Virginia law and other governing bodies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the capacity to build strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
- A commitment to maintaining the highest standards of professionalism, confidentiality, and respect for patients' autonomy.
We offer a competitive salary and benefits package, including:
- A base salary range of $65,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
