The Digital Media Campaign Associate at Vertisystem will oversee the daily operations of paid social and search media initiatives. This role encompasses campaign setup, execution, budget management, creative trafficking, and the generation of insightful reports and analytics.
To excel in this position, the Associate should be driven, proactive, disciplined, and inquisitive about paid social and search media as well as campaign management. Similar to a thriving startup environment, the Associate must be adept at implementing a proactive, results-oriented approach in uncertain situations. Experience across various audience platforms is preferred, and the ability to manage performance campaigns comprehensively while effectively communicating with both internal and external agency teams is essential. Depending on the group's needs, the candidate may focus on specific areas such as paid social or search.
Key Responsibilities:
• Campaign Setup and Quality Assurance: The Associate will handle the setup and quality assurance of programmatic campaigns, adhering to best practices for all releases. Collaboration with team members in the performance pod, including a Manager and Lead, as well as external agency partners (ad operations and analytics), will be crucial for the delivery of creative assets, campaign optimizations, and necessary campaign/billing documentation prior to launch and post-campaign analysis. The Associate will also work closely with internal and external teams to ensure that first-party data segments are correctly integrated into the platforms before launch.
• Campaign Management and Optimization: The Associate will be tasked with the daily optimization of media campaigns. Utilizing various technologies and buying platforms, they will enhance multiple target audience segments across platforms while supporting audience data analysis throughout and after the campaign.
• Reporting: Effective reporting is vital for performance media buying. The Associate will be responsible for creating a daily tracker to monitor pacing and performance fluctuations. On a weekly basis, they will provide insights into the performance of active campaigns through comprehensive reporting.
• Continuous Learning: Ongoing training is essential for the team as the performance media landscape evolves. The Associate will engage in regular knowledge-sharing sessions to enhance expertise across all performance platforms. Additionally, it is expected that Associates will learn new platform strategies and take opportunities to refine professional skills such as time management, presentation abilities, and software proficiency.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree
• 1-2 years of experience in PAID DIGITAL MEDIA
• Familiarity with digital audience platforms
• Experience with Paid Social: Meta (Facebook + Instagram), TikTok, Snapchat, Pinterest, Google Search, Amazon Search
• Proficiency in Excel (e.g., PivotTables, Pivot Graphs, Data Tables, etc.)
• Competence in other MS Office applications (Word, PowerPoint, Teams)
Knowledge Required:
• Understanding of the digital media/marketing landscape, particularly in addressable media
• Hands-on experience with planning and managing paid social and programmatic activities across performance platforms is advantageous.
• Knowledge of biddable media planning, strategy, and optimization techniques
• Experience with programmatically-bought paid social is desirable
• Familiarity with DoubleClick and other third-party tracking solutions is required
Skills Needed:
• Proficient in Excel with strong analytical capabilities
• Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail
• Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills
• Capacity to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines across various teams with diverse priorities
