Requirements

  • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree required.
  • Minimum of 3 years professional work experience in a correctional, law enforcement, or higher education setting required.
  • Ability to exercise leadership for education program development in a correctional facility required.
  • Current working knowledge of the criminal justice system required.
  • Professional communication skills required.
  • Ability to work with diverse constituents, including college faculty and administrators, inmates, and correctional staff.
  • Ability to supervise staff and manage resources and operations effectively.
