Position Overview:

The Quality Assurance Associate plays a crucial role in the inspection and approval of incoming products, as well as overseeing warehouse operations to ensure adherence to client specifications.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Manage the inspection and approval process for incoming and returned products, which includes downloading and analyzing temperature device data, communicating findings to clients, securing necessary client approvals, and maintaining electronic records of inspections and product retains.
  • Analyze weekly temperature data from the Facility Temperature Monitoring System.
  • Identify alarm investigation records during the review of weekly temperature data that indicate critical excursions.
  • Support calibration and alarm testing to ensure compliance with standard operating procedures.
  • Assist with various projects, including relabeling and kitting operations in response to client needs.
  • Help maintain documentation through collection, filing, and scanning as required.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Essential Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities):

Education/Training:

A two-year associate degree or equivalent experience is required.

Professional Experience:

Previous experience in quality inspection is preferred. Familiarity with SAP and Master Control systems is advantageous.

Specialized Skills:

Ability to communicate ideas clearly in both written and verbal formats. Proficient in accurate data entry and record maintenance. Capable of managing multiple tasks effectively. Detail-oriented with a strong understanding of word processing, database, and spreadsheet applications (preferably MS Office). Must demonstrate the ability to collaborate with internal teams to achieve objectives and meet deadlines. A personable self-starter with a positive attitude, comfortable interacting with supervisors, colleagues, clients, and potential customers.

Work Environment:

The role involves working in a warehouse setting for up to approximately 8 hours.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to accurately input data into a computer system. Effective communication skills with customers in person, over the phone, or through written correspondence. Capability to sit and stand for extended periods. Ability to lift items weighing up to 50 lbs.

In addition to base salary, other forms of compensation, including annual bonuses or long-term incentive opportunities, may be available.

Compensation Range:

$42.66
