Pediatric Speech Therapist Opportunity in North Houston

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist to join our team at THERAPY 2000 in North Houston. This is a full-time, part-time, or PRN position that offers the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of children and their families.
About the RoleAs a Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist with THERAPY 2000, you will be responsible for conducting comprehensive Speech Therapy evaluations, developing and implementing treatment plans, and collaborating with patients' caregivers to ensure the best possible outcomes. You will also have the opportunity to work closely with other healthcare professionals to provide holistic care to your patients.
Key Responsibilities- Perform comprehensive Speech Therapy evaluations using standardized tests to determine patients' needs for therapy.
- Develop and implement relevant treatment plans aligned with physicians' orders.
- Collaborate with patients' caregivers to develop home exercise programs.
- Act as a vital member of your patients' medical neighborhoods, coordinating care between various providers and disciplines.
- Complete a minimum number of patient visits on a weekly basis as required by the agency.
- Meet deadlines for completion of patient chart updates, progress summaries, call logs, and all other paperwork as needed.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A current/active license to practice Speech Language Pathology in the state of Texas.
- An innovative spirit complemented by a demonstrated history of reliability.
- Flexibility to shift resources and priorities as necessary, based on the needs of the business.
- Ability to use common workplace technology (laptop computer, phone, email, web browser).
- 3+ years of experience as a pediatric Speech Language Pathologist.
- Experience in a home-health setting.
- Experience or certifications in feeding therapy or other clinical specialties (VitalStim, SOFFI, SOS, etc.).
- Bilingual (English/Spanish).
We offer a competitive salary range of $80,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience, plus a range of benefits including:
