Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Respiratory Therapist - Cardiopulmonary Specialist to join our team at Houston Methodist Cypress Hospital. This role requires a licensed therapist to provide high-quality respiratory care services to patients with cardiopulmonary disorders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive respiratory care services to patients with cardiopulmonary disorders, including diagnosis, treatment, and management.
  • Assess patient conditions, develop treatment plans, and implement interventions as needed.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care and optimize outcomes.
  • Maintain accurate records, participate in quality improvement initiatives, and adhere to regulatory requirements.
Requirements
  • RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist) certification
  • State licensure as an RCP (Respiratory Care Practitioner)
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certifications
  • PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) and NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation) certifications may be required depending on area assignment
  • 1+ year of experience as a Respiratory Therapist or related field
