Job Title: RN - Bone Marrow Transplant

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in the Bone Marrow Transplant Unit at Loyola University Medical Center. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of patients and provide exceptional care in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Job Summary:

The Registered Nurse will be responsible for providing direct patient care to patients undergoing bone marrow transplants, as well as those with hematological and oncological conditions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in critical care and hematology, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care to patients undergoing bone marrow transplants and those with hematological and oncological conditions
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices and advancements in the field
Requirements:
  • Current RN licensure in the state of Illinois
  • BSN or ADN degree from an accredited nursing program
  • BLS certification from the American Heart Association
  • At least 12 months of RN experience, preferably in BMTU or critical care
