Job Summary:

Procure Personnel is seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Behavioral Healthcare Technician to join our team. As a Behavioral Healthcare Technician, you will work closely with children and young adults with autism, providing individualized care and support to help them achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work one-on-one with clients, applying and implementing behavior analytical techniques to increase communication, self-help, and social and play skills under the direct supervision of a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst.
  • Provide a positive and safe environment and experience for all clients and parents, utilizing positive reinforcement and originator modification to increase appropriate behaviors over time.
  • Manage any inappropriate behaviors that occur, ensuring the well-being and safety of clients and staff.
  • Collaborate with the treatment team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans, ensuring the highest level of care and support for clients.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, parents, and staff, providing regular updates and progress reports.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development, staying up-to-date on best practices and industry developments.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred.
  • Experience working with children with autism or other developmental disabilities, or a strong interest in pursuing a career in this field.
  • Ability to multi-task, maintain patient confidentiality, and develop strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to pass a state and FBI background check, child abuse clearance, and drug screen.
  • First Aid/CPR certification required; reliable transportation to travel to the clinic and conduct yourself in a professional manner.
