Position Overview

We are seeking a qualified Senior Substance Use Specialist to join our dedicated team at a women's recovery program. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in substance use counseling, with a preference for those who have experience in mental health.

This role encompasses a variety of responsibilities, including:

  • Managing client cases with a comprehensive Master Problem List
  • Facilitating group therapy sessions
  • Conducting psycho-educational workshops
  • Implementing evidence-based therapeutic approaches
  • Providing crisis intervention support
  • Documenting client progress through ACT notes and group notes
  • Offering individualized counseling sessions on a weekly basis

While certifications in Living In Balance, Motivational Interviewing, Relapse Prevention, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), ASAM, or Seeking Safety are advantageous, they are not mandatory. We provide a robust employment package that includes a competitive salary and a 401k plan.
