Job Overview

The Hazelden Betty Ford Foundation is a leading nonprofit addiction recovery organization in the United States. We are seeking a highly motivated Patient Care Technician to join our team. This role plays a vital part in providing hope and healing for individuals struggling with addiction.

About the Role
This position involves assisting clients and staff with various needs throughout the facility. The successful candidate will work closely with the treatment team to ensure patients receive comprehensive care. Key responsibilities include:
  • Assisting with addressing the treatment process within organizational guidelines, philosophies, policies, and procedures.
  • Reviewing patient/client activities and relating observations to staff.
  • Ensuring building compliance with fire and safety regulations.
  • Providing clerical support to the treatment team, medication services, patient scheduling, and management of unit office/tech station.
  • Reviewing and supporting recovery activities of patients/clients and relating observations to appropriate staff.

Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
  • A High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Current CPR certification or obtain within 30 days.
  • Current Driver's License in good standing.

Preferred Qualifications
We also welcome applicants with experience working in the addiction treatment industry and knowledge of Microsoft Office and Outlook. A Bachelor's degree is also advantageous. In exchange for your expertise, we offer competitive benefits and a salary range of $20.00 - $26.97 per hour.
