Insurance Defense Attorney Job Description

At Jobot, we are seeking an experienced Insurance Defense Attorney to join our team in Irvine, CA. As a key member of our insurance defense team, you will represent clients in a wide range of insurance defense cases, including personal injury, automobile, property damage, construction defect, professional liability, and employment liability.

Responsibilities:
  • Represent clients in insurance defense cases, providing expert legal advice and ensuring they are fully informed of their rights, options, and legal implications.
  • Prepare and draft legal documents, conduct extensive legal research, and negotiate settlements on behalf of clients.
  • Develop and implement effective defense strategies to achieve successful outcomes, and participate in trials, presenting evidence and making persuasive arguments in favor of our clients.
  • Collaborate with a team of legal professionals, sharing knowledge and contributing to the overall success of our firm.

Qualifications:
  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Minimum of 2+ years of experience as a practicing attorney, specifically in insurance defense.
  • Proven experience in handling cases related to personal injury, automobile, property damage, construction defect, professional liability, and employment liability.
  • Admission to the state bar and in good standing.
  • Exceptional negotiation skills and a proven track record of successful case settlements.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to handle complex legal issues.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex legal concepts clearly and effectively.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with clients, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
  • A high degree of professional ethics, integrity, and a commitment to client confidentiality.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
