Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Special Needs Teacher Assistant. This is a full-time opportunity to work alongside our experienced teachers, providing a safe, healthy, structured, and welcoming space for children to learn and grow.

Responsibilities
  1. Work alongside a team of teachers to provide a supportive and inclusive environment for children with special needs.
  2. Engage with children in learning activities, inspiring them to be lifelong learners and develop their social, emotional, and cognitive skills.
  3. Partner with families to nurture and care for their children, providing support and guidance as needed.
  4. Assist with the accreditation process and other quality initiatives to ensure the highest standards of care.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience working in an early learning or child care center, preferably with special needs students.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a personal demeanor that is warm and friendly.
  • Reliable attendance and punctuality, with the ability to prioritize tasks and work effectively in a team environment.

Salary

$50,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience.
