Join our team as a Medical Imaging Technologist.

In the role of Medical Imaging Technologist, you will:
Deliver quality patient care to all individuals within the medical imaging department.

Produce high-quality images and conduct examinations while being sensitive to patient needs. Adhere to established standards of safe radiation practices.

Exhibit leadership qualities and serve as a role model for fellow technologists.

Act as a clinical resource for students, staff technologists, and other healthcare personnel.

Ensure compliance with current standards of practice for the unit.

Qualifications:
In addition to bringing your authentic self to work each day, qualified candidates will need the following:

Comprehensive knowledge of all aspects of Diagnostic Imaging, including Surgery and Trauma as required.

A minimum of one year post-certification experience is necessary to evaluate and/or instruct student radiographers.

A high school diploma or GED is required.

Registered Technologist, Radiology-R.T. (R) (ARRT) certification is mandatory.

Current Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association is required.

Physical Requirements: Ability to exert up to 50 lbs of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 lbs frequently, and/or up to 10 lbs constantly.

The Imaging Department operates with a team of 30-35 certified imaging technologists and encompasses seven different modalities, including: CT, MRI, Radiology, Nuclear Medicine, Ultrasound, Mammography, DEXA, and Echo, with plans to expand to include a Cardiac CT program. We function as a cohesive team, supporting one another and encouraging cross-training. As a smaller facility, we collaborate closely with all departments to ensure exceptional patient care.
