Position Overview:

As a valued member of CommonSpirit Health Mountain Region, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional patient care within our medical imaging department. Your expertise as a Medical Imaging Specialist will ensure that patients receive high-quality imaging services while adhering to safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver outstanding patient care to individuals undergoing imaging procedures.
  • Conduct precise imaging examinations, maintaining a focus on patient comfort and safety.
  • Exhibit leadership qualities and serve as a mentor to junior technologists.
  • Provide clinical guidance to students and staff, enhancing the learning environment.
  • Ensure compliance with current standards of practice in the imaging unit.

Work Schedule:
Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM

Qualifications:
To be considered for this role, candidates should possess:
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Diagnostic Imaging, including Surgery and Trauma.
  • A minimum of one year of post-certification experience to evaluate and instruct student radiographers.
  • A high school diploma or GED.
  • Registered Technologist, Radiology-R.T. (R) (ARRT) certification.
  • Current Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association.
  • Ability to exert up to 50 lbs of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 lbs frequently, and/or up to 10 lbs constantly.
